Christian Women
The Christian Women group was founded over 50 years ago and is dedicated to supporting St. Matthew’s parish through the different ministries and initiatives, such as those listed below.
- Cleaning and decorating the church.
- Filling mass ministry roles as lectors, sacristans, ushers, greeters and host /wine ministers.
- Hosting bake sales to earn funds for special projects such as refinishing the church floors.
- Praying for members in need via the St. Matthew’s Prayer Network.
- Purchasing hosts for mass.
- Supporting families by assisting with funeral luncheons.
- Visiting parishioners who are unable to attend mass through our Homebound ministry program.
