Payout: 1st place: $400.00 2nd place: $200.00 3rd place: $125.00 4th place: $75.00 Payouts are based on 64 teams, if less than 64 teams, payouts will be adjusted Concessions will be available all day. Cash bar to include beer, Mike’s Hard Lemonades, soda and water. No carry-ins. Raffles will be held through out the day – bring some extra cash. All participants must be at least 21 years old. Tournament Information: Double Elimination tournament play. A game will consist of 3 matches; you must win 2 out of 3 matches to win the game. Teams will score their own games/matches. Winning team must report the win to the front table on the stage. No substitutions once play begins for the day. Any substitutions after registrations are submitted should be communicated with a director prior to game play. No fouls to be enforced. If you make the bag on the board, it counts. Foot must stay behind the front of the board. Scoring - Cancellation scoring: Teams alternate pitching bags one at a time. All bags must be thrown to complete a round. Bags in the hole = 3 points Bags on the board = 1 point (if it is questionable if a bag is on the board, pick up the front of the board – if it stays on, it counts) Add up how many points you earned and compare them to your opponents. Equal points cancel each other out so that only one team can score per round. Example, if you scored 5 points and your opponent scored 3, you will add 2 points to your overall score and your team will throw first in the next round. If both teams score the same amount of points, there will be no points awarded and whoever threw first in the last round will throw first again. A game is won when a team reaches 21 points with a lead of 2 or more points. The first team to win 2 matches wins the game. Entire inning must be played. If a team that pitches first reaches or exceeds 21, the game can not end until the other side is allowed to pitch all of their corn bags and the round is completed. Money raised from this event will support St. Matthew School. The intention of this event is to raise money and bring the families and friends of St. Matt’s together for a great time while of course having a little fun!
